DETECTIVES in Bradford have released CCTV images in relation to two sexual related incidents in the Great Horton Road and St Margaret’s Road areas.

On 17 December at about 5:50am, a 43 year-old woman was grabbed by a man as she walked to work on Great Horton Road. She pushed him away and screamed before the man ran off towards the university campus.
At 6:20am the same day a 25 year-old woman was grabbed by a similarly described man in St Margaret’s Road, near to its junction with Woodhead Road. The woman screamed alerting nearby residents and he ran off towards Great Horton road.
The victims both gave similar descriptions of the man, described as Asian, aged between 25 and 30 and was wearing a dark hooded top with a hat underneath. Now police are releasing CCTV images in an attempt to find the suspect. Det Insp Nicola Bryar of Bradford south CID said:
“A considerable amount of work has gone into tracing the person responsible for these offences, however; we have not yet been able to get that key piece of information which will enable us to locate him.
“We have now taken the further step of releasing CCTV images from Stratford Road in the hope that it will jog someone’s memory and help us to identify the culprit.”
Anyone with information regarding the incidents is asked to contact Bradford South CID on the non emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
Det Insp Nicola Bryar went on to add:
“It is quite possible that the answer lies in the local community and we would call upon residents to think back and let us know if you remember even the smallest bit of information.
“Every bit of detail is important. It can help us piece together the jigsaw and potentially lead to a positive outcome”.
Police would like to talk to the man in the CCTV images.
